R, shiny and dataviz

During my 5 years at Argus I created the majority of reports, dashboards and analysis using R, shiny and Rmarkdown/Quarto. Most of these are still on use today, such as:

• daily reports (1200+ reports each day, sent via R) with embedded videos, reactable tables and download options

• weekly reports made with flexdashboard and echarts4r

• the main dashboard used by dozens of clients

• a telegram bot with real-time alerts + email

• smart reports with special analysis regarding telemetry and fuel usage

• platforms for the control tower team, running 24/7 and used by at least 10 people simultaneously

• the videowall with realtime insights about the operation

Regarding quick prototyping: I can create things like this in 2 or 3 days when inspired:

I was also responsible for the integration of several telemetry clients with our database, and the creation of APIs using plumber to allow clients to consume our data.

I implemented a drowsiness detector to answer the question: “What is the probability that this driver will sleep driving in the next hour?”

I also implemented a facial recognition system which allows to identify the history of each driver without the need of identifications
